Terms and conditions

CHECK-IN TIME is FRIDAY AFTER 4 PM and CHECKOUT is FRIDAY BEFORE 10 AM. Early Check-in or late checkout is not possible 

This is a NON SMOKING property.

ONE SMALL DOG ALLOWED

CHILDREN WELCOME, but please note that no baby/toddler equivalent is provided at the property. Children will need to be supervised in the garden and around the hot tub by an adult at all times.

 

SECURITY/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A security deposit of £250 is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the holiday property. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within seven (7) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. 

 

  • No damage/loss is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
  • No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
  • All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bin or recycling bags and placed outside for Monday collection, all soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher.
  • Keys are left in the key-safe and the house is left locked.
  • All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
  • No linen is lost or damaged.
  • The guest is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.

 

PAYMENT – An advance booking deposit equal to 50% of the rental rate is required SIXTY (60) DAYS before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent.  Please make payments via bank transfer to the bank details included under. The advance payment is not a security deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due THIRTY (30) DAYS before your arrival date. Please see Payment details for bank transfer information. 

CANCELLATIONS

 Your rights to cancel and OUR refund Policy

  1. If You have to cancel your booking please contact us in writing by email with a copy of Your Booking Confirmation as soon as possible and we will confirm the cancellation in writing. We will charge a £25 (including VAT) administration charge if You cancel the Booking at any time prior to the Check-In Date. If We are able to do so We will make a reasonable effort to re-let the Property for the full length of Your original Booking and if successful we will not charge You for the days we have been able to re-let the Property. If you cancel more than 28 days before the Check-in Date and we are unable to re-let the Property, then only the Deposit shall be retained and any balance held by Us shall be returned to You. If the cancellation is received by Us 28 days or less from the Check-in Date and we are unable to re-let the Property then the full Hire Cost (if already held by Us) shall be retained, or alternatively be payable by You if full payment has not yet been received. We strongly recommend that You take out holiday insurance which includes holiday cancellation.
  2. If You depart voluntarily from the Property before the Departure Date, no refund shall be given in respect of any period when you do not occupy the Property.
  3. Where You have cancelled a Booking because of Our failure to comply with these Terms and conditions and You elect to cancel the contract (except where We have been affected by an Event Outside Our Control), You do not have to make any payment to us and we will refund any payments already made.

 Our rights to cancel and our refund Policy

  1. We may have to cancel a Booking before the Check-in Date, due to an Event Outside Our Control, or the unavailability of key personnel or key materials without which We cannot provide the Stay. We will promptly contact You if this happens. In these circumstances, we will provide you a full refund, and we will offer you the opportunity to move your holiday to a later date with a 25% reduction on your stay with us based on the advertised rate for the period you choose.
  2. We may cancel the contract for Stay at any time with immediate effect by giving You written notice if You:
    1. do not pay us when You are supposed to; or
    2. break the contract in any other material way.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests for this property is limited to seven (7) persons.

MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a seven (7) night minimum stay. If a rental is taken for less than seven days, the guest will be charged the seven-night rate. During specified off peak periods, shorter stays may be arranged by prior agreement.

WELCOME PACKS - Please note that our complimentary welcome packs may contain dairy, gluten and may contain traces of nuts, Guests should check the list of ingredients on each product thoroughly before eating. The Owners will not accept any responsibility for any reactions to the products included in the welcome packs.

INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Facilities fees are included in the rental rate.

NO HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, maid service during the stay is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit bath towels or linens to be taken from the property and suggest you bring beach towels for your use.

RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice (this will not effect existing bookings).

FALSIFIED BOOKINGS – Any booking obtained under false pretence will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. 

WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

PARKING – Guests can park on the carport area of the property. Guests are requested not to park on the pavement in front of neighbours properties.

KEY COLLECTION AND KEY SAFE LOCATION - The client will be advised of the code and location of the key safe during the week leading up to their stay.

RUBBISH – Guests are required to comply with Cornwall County Council Recycling Regulations, bins/bags are provided with labels for each type of recycling. Guests are politely requested to meet the Councils collection dates by putting all rubbish and recycling out at the front of the property every Monday for general waste and every other Monday for recycled waste. Dates for the recycled waste are listed under House Rules.

TOILETS - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or wet wipes should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that wet wipes or feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred pounds (£200).

NOISE – guests are requested to keep noise to a reasonable and considerate level after 10pm out of consideration of our neighbours

CHILDREN  – Are very welcome under the full supervision of an adult (18 years and above) at all times. Children’s welfare and safety is the full responsibility of parents and guardians whilst they are on the property of 18 Sea View Crescent.

HOT TUB – Use of the hot tub is the full responsibility of the guests, it is recommended that children under 12th are don’t use the pool. All children should be accompanied by an adult (18 years and above) at all times whilst in the hot tub.
