  • August 2021: On arriving at Seaview Crescent after a long journey, we felt we had arrived at an overseas. deluxe holiday villa: not only was its location idyllic, set up high overlooking Perranporth with its surrounding cliffs and magnificent beach, but the crescent itself was comfortably ensconced amongst fields, given a sense of pastoral retreat and tranquility. The house itself far exceeded our expectations: it was spacious, delightfully decorated and furnished, with plenty of windows allowing for sunlight to stream in from every angle, including the patio doors leading onto the balcony, where we sat for evening aperitifs watching the sun set behind Perranporth bay (just 10 minutes walk down the hill). There was plenty of room for two families...with stylish double bedrooms, 3 contemporary bathrooms and a generous and roomy kitchen-diner. The kids loved hanging out in the comfy lounge, with its large TV, X-box and other games...and balcony. Beyond the house, there was much to do and plenty to explore, with a selection of spectacular beaches and bays within a short drive, walks (either local or beyond), and if venturing further, Newquay and other popular towns not far away. As well as surfing lessons at Perranporth beach, a highlight for us was visiting Crantock Bay, a spectacular spot which reinforces Cornwall's unique qualities. Our week's holiday was a definite success and one we will not soon forget.

  • It is very difficult to add to the comments of other visitors to this beautiful house other than to reiterate and emphasise their comments. We could not think of a single addition to be made to the house, everything was perfection. The walk into Perrenporth is downhill and very easy, the return walk might need a little more energy but the location is wonderful and very easy to find. The incredible attention and thought which has gone into the house is evident from the moment of arrival. No. 18 is a very welcoming and exceedingly comfortable house and caters for every aspect of holiday needs including the weather. Thank you.

  • We’ve had a wonderful holiday this past week. As a retired couple we have really appreciated the comfort and luxury of this exceptionally well equipped and spotlessly clean house, set in such a superb position with stunning views over the town and bay.

We've enjoyed visiting a number of interesting locations, bringing back some very happy memories of previous holidays to Cornwall, the charm remains and there is so much to see and do, even if you’re not an avid surfer!

We have eaten out at some of the good restaurants in the town and enjoyed an occasional drink in the charming pubs within the surrounding area.

We fully intend to return next year.

  • Such a stunning house in such a stunning location. We spent many happy evenings watching the sun set over Perranporth bay from the front balcony. The house itself cannot be faulted. It is beautifully light & airy, specc'd for seamless modern living and furnished elegantly throughout all of which contributes to an immediate relaxation the moment you put down your suitcase. The guys on the beach at Perranporth surf school are amazing. Highly recommend. And the coastline is stunning whether that be a long walk around the bay at low tide or some of the smaller coves a short drive away. The hosts make everything incredibly easy and lovely right down to a carefully curated suite of board games for some post dinner fun. We had a truly magical relaxing time.

  • Have just spent a fantastic week in this beautiful house, which is a 10-minute walk from the beach and has stunning views with beautiful sunsets over Perrenporth beach. The house is fully equipped with everything you could ever need. The host is clearly a cook! It was beautifully clean, lots of space, light and airy with balconys front and back. Good-sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms, good wi-fi, easy to use Smart TV. Lovely living rooms with beach vibe throughout the house. Easy to access with enough space for two cars.

The hosts have thought of everything from USB plugs to blankets to put over your knees on chilly nights.

Loads to do in area. Wonderful walks from the house along Poldark-cliff paths; Good surfing - recommend Perranporth Surf School - great instructors and small groups; lots of beautiful beaches - recomend fish and chips on beach at St Agnes and pitch and put or the mini golf at Holywell Golf club (fantastic views right on the cliff edge); If you love stately homes visit Pencarrow; history in nearby Truro and lots of old tin mines to visit. There's so much to do, our teenagers loved it.

Absolutely perfect getaway and cant wait to come back!
